Join Senator Alexis Weik and community partners for a free Narcan training session at Copiague Memorial Library. Narcan, also known as naloxone, is a life-saving medication used to reverse opioid overdoses. This vital one-hour session will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to act swiftly in an emergency. Participants will learn how to recognize signs of an overdose, administer Narcan, and provide care until help arrives. Everyone who completes the training will receive a Narcan kit. Seating is limited and registration is required.
