Hauppauge, NY – On Tuesday, March 28, Suffolk County Legislator Kevin McCaffrey (R-Lindenhurst) presented local businesses owner and community leader Jacqueline DiDonato with the 2017 Suffolk County Women of Distinction Award for the 14th Legislative District.

In addition to being a business owner in Babylon Village, DiDonato is also a community leader through her work as member and president of the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce.
“Jackie embodies a ‘woman of distinction’ because of the tireless worth ethic she exhibits as a business owner in Babylon Village and community leader through her work at the Chamber,” said McCaffrey. “I couldn’t think of a better person to be recognized for this award and look forward to the great things I know Jackie will continue to do in our community.”
DiDonato joined the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce in 2005 and became vice president and then president in 2014, working continually for the village merchants.
