DESCRIPTION:Canines & Coffee: Rescue & Shelter Network \nHosted by Maximum Canine \n📍Location: 1011 Grand Blvd\, Deer Park\, NY� \n🗓️ Date: January 30th \n⏰Time: 7:15 PM \nWho It’s For \nShelter Staff \nRescue Volunteers \nFoster & Intake Coordinators \nWhy We’re Doing It \nI started this journey at just seven years old\, when I rescued my first dog\, Athena—a four-year-old\, abused German Shepherd with a permanently broken leg who had just had puppies on the street. She had every reason not to trust people\, but I knew I had to help her. \nWith compassion\, care\, and structure\, I was able to navigate her behavior and help her become an incredible dog. That experience shaped my entire life. \nSince then\, I’ve spent over 40 years training\, rescuing\, and supporting dogs in every setting imaginable. I’ve worked with rescues\, supported shelters\, and helped when and where I could.
