SUMMARY:Dungeons & Dragons Encounters Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Dungeons & Dragons has new organized play! \nThis week is our Encounters Celebration Event\, where we will be playing through the first part of “Shadows of Sithicus”. All games are not restricted to stop at any given point in the campaign. \nWe’ll be meeting up and forming parties at 7:00PM\, with play starting shortly after or when a table of 4 players is filled\, and ending at 9:45PM. We have up to 5 tables of 4 players for this event.* \nWhat do you need? \nJust a set of dice. That’s all. Don’t worry about anything else\, we have Premade characters that accompany this campaign. That doesn’t mean you CAN’T make a character\, and if you’d like to make one you should follow these guidelines\, per the official event details: \nFor the Celebration Event\, players should create a level 3 character using thePlayer’s HandbookandRavenloft: The Horrors Within. The following additional guidelines apply to these characters: \nAbility scores are generated using either the Standard Array or Point Cost options detailed inchapter 2of thePlayer’s Handbook.Each time a character gains a level after level 1\, their Hit Point maximum increases according to theFixed Hit Points by Class tableinchapter 2of thePlayer’s Handbook.Characters begin with their normal starting equipment plus one Common magic item of their choice fromchapter 7of theDungeon Master’s Guide. Alternatively\, they can select aPotion of Healingfrom thePlayer’s Handbook. \n*Any players that miss preregistration or that arrive after all 5 tables are filled with 4 players can still play in other tables or join if the Dungeon Master allows a 5th player\, but will not receive the bonus rewards. This event is SEPARATE from our weekly play and our weekly play campaigns are suspended this week. \nParking- We kindly ask that all event attendees respect our neighboring businesses and please do not park in their private parking lots at the risk of having your vehicle towed. Our general parking is located in the rear of the building by utilizing the driveways before the building. In the event that there is no parking available\, we ask that you park in the municipal lot diagonally across the street from our store\, find parking on Deer Park Avenue\, or park in the residential areas or other public parking spaces.

Please select the Entry from among the choices! \nFriday\, June 19th – 7:30pm Start\, $40.00 Entry – Sealed Deck Format \nSaturday\, June 20th – 1:00pm Start\, $40.00 Entry – Sealed Deck Format \nSunday\, June 21st – 2:00pm Start\, $40.00 Entry* – 2-Headed Giant Sealed Deck Format \nIf you are NOT planning on playing in an event\, please see our separate reservation for our At-Home PreRelease option. These purchases are for attending and participating in our Sealed events.  \n*2 Player teams are necessary\, totaling $80.00 per team. If you do not have a teammate\, one will randomly be assigned for you. Entry is for 1 person\, a purchase of 2 assumes a teammate is attending. \nSealed Deck Format is where you build a 40 card deck from a PreRelease Kit- a box containing 6 booster packs and a promo card. \n2-Headed Giant Sealed Deck Format is where you and a teammate build two 40 card decks from 2 PreRelease Kits\, combining the pool of all cards in each kit. Games in this format are 2 vs 2\, and teams start with 30 life instead of 20.  \nWe will have extra kits while supplies last for take home pre-release events. A Wizards ID is required (If you have a MTG Arena account\, it’s the same!). Reserve a Kit today on our website! \nIf your Wizards ID e-mail is different from the one used in this preregistration\, please indicate your Wizards ID email in the additional notes with this preregistration. \nBy Pre-Registering for any of these events you are agreeing to be present no later than 15 minutes prior to the indicated start times for Check-in with RipNShip Gaming Staff. You understand that this is an IN-STORE event and that any and all product will NOT be held for absent players under any circumstances\, and any preregistered player who does not attend the event will have their entries converted into Store Credit for use on a physical product purchase in store at a later date. PreRelease Kits will not be mailed for any reason. A valid Wizards ID is required for play. No single player may participate as two or more players\, additional entries without a valid player to claim them will also be converted to Store Credit for the purchaser as though a participating player was absent.
