Jim Clark and his team have my highest praise, for all aspects of how they handled my case. I was heading for foreclosure, and then actually in foreclosure. Mr Clark calmly and clearly told me all my options. He was very patient and gave me a lot of time before I even decided which way to proceed. Ellin was always very helpful, as was Adam, even when he was very new and very nervous, offering to accompany me to Court.
As it turned out, I had to have Mr Clark and his team organize a short sale for my house. Everyone exceeded my expectations in dealing with real estate agents and negotiating with the bank.
The most amazing thing about the experience was the sense of security and confidence that Mr Clark provided. He had me sit next to him at the closing and I knew that he would make sure everything was taken care of properly and with my best interests in mind. Considering that losing my house was heartbreaking, I couldn't have asked for more guidance, protection, patience, and expertise. Thank you all.

Clark's Law was fantastic, they stayed on top of all the issues and always knew the status of the buyers mortgage commitments. I didn't have to hound them and advise them what to do next. What a refreshing experience. Their accounting was spot on and Stacee was not only a delight to speak with but was on top of all issues. The best part I didn't have to be at the closing because I had the confidence it was being handled in a professional manner and my best interests were at heart. Thank you so much. As a practicing architect and having been involved with various real estate matters for more than 50 years, I’ve dealt with numerous attorneys. Jim Clark stands out above all the others.
One of the things that has irked me with these other lawyers was how they would bill for every 5 minutes of their time and, although Jim is well-paid, I don’t have the sense he is nickel-and-diming. Thus, I’m not bashful about engaging in a dialog with him regarding my legal affairs.
Jim is not one of the many lawyers who, looking to play it safe, are instinctively inclined to ‘kill a deal’. Rather, while pointing out potential hazards of something, he will also offer creative ideas to overcome them.
So - what I like best about Jim is his patience and generosity in providing (sometimes lengthy) answers and explanations regarding questions and issues that I have had. He is thorough and articulate, using clear non-lawyerly language. His advice, given with options to choose from, has always been spot-on.
