Very cool wine and cocktail bar in Babylon. Chill and elegant vibes inside the restaurant and a beautiful lit alleyway filled with outdoor seating. Excellent menu with so many options from apps, pizza, and small plate entrees. A very long list of excellent wine options for whatever taste you may like. The food comes out when prepared and not all at once so your meal is always fresh. Our dinner was the tuna small plate, and the pan seared salmon, both very good! The mini desserts are also all delicious! The restaurant is not that big and fills up quickly, I would try to get a reservation or come in early for dinner. I definitely recommend Barrique Kitchen and Wine Bar!

I wish we took pictures but we devoured everything as soon as it dropped šŸ˜ I celebrated 1 year w my love, the same place we had our 1st date, last night and absolutely everything was so incredible. The service and ambiance was beautifully on point. We ordered the calamari special and that sauce I could have drank; basically did. We also had the Brussels (Iā€™m obsessed), crab bites, bang bang shrimp and pesto gnocchi. The order and timing in which every plate was dropped really let us both enjoy and dive into what our palettes were experiencing with each dish. What a beautiful experience. We were supposed to go to Prime in Huntington but are trying to cut back w the spending. We were absolutely not disappointed and I think left more satisfied than if we had gone for steaks. Thank you for a beautiful evening with out-of-this-world culinary creations. We will absolutely be coming back here ASAP. And the bathrooms were clean!!! šŸ™šŸ»šŸ™šŸ»šŸ™šŸ»

Updated May 25, 2024 Another awesome dining experience. Our waiter Michael was a true professional! He was helpful, personable and made great recommendations. It was obvious that he loved his job and working with his awesome colleagues. Once again the food was outstanding, especially the Peanut Butter Cup Dessert which was sinfully delicious. Great cocktails as well. Danny was also helpful and really attentive to ensuring we had a good experience. We will keep returning...one of my favorite Long Island spots! ā€---------------------------------------ā€------ I would give Barrique 4.5 Stars! I loved it. The outside seating is really charming and the inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated as well. The staff was terrific. Our hostess Julianne was friendly and sat us outside right away. In addition, our waitress, Alexis, was really helpful, professional and wonderful. As for the food, we enjoyed it all. My favorite was the breakfast pizza on cauliflower crust.....super flavorfull! The burrata with fig jam was a perfect combination....sweet and creamy. We also liked the octopus as well as the pretzel filled with brie that also came with fig jam. They had bottomless drinks for $18. I had the Sangria and my wife enjoyed her mimosas. The Sangria was a bit watered down....but I still had two! Alot of folks seemed to be enjoying the Frozes.....might try that next time. Overall a fantastic experience. I can't wait to go back!

Let's start with the service. Service is definitely on the slower end, in which it took approximately half an hour between the first and second dish to come out (we sat at 6:20pm, first dish came out at 7, second came out at 7:32, and third came out at 7:36). Our server, Michael, was incredibly friendly but definitely overworked, where he was running around inside and out; I truly believe that if they had a bit more servers, the experience would definitely be more pleasant and perhaps speedier (for example, it took us 5 minutes to get napkins and another 15 for the sriracha aioli we asked for, which led to our fries being cold by the time we got the sauce :/) The aesthetics and ambiance of the restaurant is definitely very warm and welcoming, with a mixture of wooded furnitures and design. Very pretty and comfortable, without feeling overly high end. The pricing of their food is also incredibly reasonable, with barely any dish costing more than 25 bucks. The crab cake was delicious and relatively big in portion size, so highly recommended! The steak was very tender but the flavor was on the blander side; it also came out with only a few small strands of onions unfortunately, which would have added more flavor if it came with more. I definitely do not recommend the steak, for I'm sure other options may be more delicious and plentiful. The special fish with risotto was so extremely salty, in which the tomato broth risotto couldn't even mellow out the saltiness of the fish. Highly, HIGHLY, recommend staying away from the fish... Lastly, they also added a dish on our receipt which we never ordered, so please remember to check your receipt! Overall, it was unfortunately a very disappointing experience, especially given its amazing potential. 2 out of 3 of what we ordered was either not good or nothing special. The prices are great with a wide variety, but I'm just hoping the food could be improved upon. Thank you Michael, for doing your best and being so friendly. Thank you for reading and good luck! (:
