Just had my Mother's funeral there and it couldn't have gone better. Molly Burns who helped plan and organize it was exceptional. She was compassionate and really made such a sad time for our family so much more tolerable. The entire staff from beginning to end were A+ - 5 star all the way. Unfortunately we all have to plan funerals. From now on - all of ours will be with them. Thank you to all the staff from the bottom of our hearts.

I recently attended the Easter egg hunt event hosted by this funeral home, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations! Despite the rain, they seamlessly moved the festivities indoors, ensuring a fun-filled day for the kids. From the lively Benanna band, whose interactive songs were not only entertaining but also conducive to speech development, to the array of kid-friendly activities including painting, snacks, beverages, lawn games, and of course, the Easter egg hunt for prizes, every moment was delightful. The staff, for the most part, was incredibly friendly, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Though there was one slightly off-putting encounter, it certainly didn't overshadow the overall fantastic experience. I highly recommend this funeral home for its dedication to creating memorable and enjoyable community events. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Went to a wonderful Easter event at Claude R. Boyd- Caratozzolo Funeral Home today.
One of our friends sent me the Easter Egg Hunt flyer and we were excited to find a free Easter community event. We have been wanting to see the BenAnna band and were also excited to see that they were to have performances during the event.
We RSVPed prior to the date and went with our 10 month olds. There were kids of all ages from newborns to older kids which was very inclusive for everyone!
The event took up the whole funeral home. We were greeted once we entered and there were easter eggs everywhere. It was decorated so nicely for the egg hunt. Each room had an activity - snacks and crafts, photos with the easter bunny, vendor fair and the BenAnna band show room. You were able to exchange the easter eggs for a few prizes which was so kind! It was also nice that people were coming and going as they please. Especially with a baby, we were only able to stay for an hour and a half and the BenAnna band had 2 performances so it was nice to have options!
Our girls had so much fun listening to the music, taking pictures with the easter bunny and holding the easter eggs.
We loved how the event asked for donations for the LI Homeless Coalition. It was nice we were able to give something to those who are in need.
It was a really sweet event that this Funeral home had and what a wonderful way to connect with the community. We will definitely make this event an annual event for us to attend and look forward to future community events! Thank you for having us!!

Kirk Thompson was incredibly sensitive and helpful in guiding my family and me through the most tragic and difficult loss we've ever faced. From the very moment we sat down with him and throughout the process of planning my brother's wake and funeral, he and the staff took care of every detail the way we wanted it. We were able to give my brother a beautiful final goodbye. On behalf of my family, I want to thank Kirk and everyone at Boyd-Caratozzolo for making this as easy a process as possible. We are so grateful.

Molly, our funeral director, treated my daughters and myself with dignity and respect. She walked us through every step of the process and has been a tremendous help as we work through all the details involved in the aftermath of the death of a loved one.
