Your Summer Game Plan is here: Our Deep Dive into the 2025 Parks and Recreation Guide

30 April 2025

Sun’s out, fun’s out! The Town of Babylon dropped its 2025 Parks and Recreation Guide, and it’s your all-access pass to everything from summer camps and swim lessons to movies under the stars and tennis tournaments. And did I mention that as a resident of the Town of Babylon ALMOST everything is FREE??

First off, a big thank you to the Town of Babylon for once again putting together an incredible Parks and Recreation Guide for 2025. From restored beaches to expanded youth programs and free summer concerts, this guide is proof of how hard our town works to keep our facilities top-notch and our community full of energy, activity, and fun.

At I Love Babylon, we wanted to take that effort even further. So we used our tools and tech to make the guide more accessible and easier to use for every resident — whether you’re a busy parent, a senior citizen, or a first-time visitor trying to figure out where to catch a movie in the park. We’ve added an interactive online version, an AI-powered assistant to answer your questions, a podcast breakdown for audio learners, and even a custom Google-powered map to help you find every park, pool, and program near you.

🗺️ Explore Babylon Like a Local — With Our Interactive Map

When I first moved to the Town of Babylon back in 2009, I had no clue where anything was. I didn’t know which park had a playground, where the beach entrances were, or how to get to the pool without driving in circles. So eventually, I made a map — and now I’m sharing it with you.

This Interactive Parks & Recreation Map is built on Google Maps, so it’s easy to use from your phone, tablet, or computer. Tap for directions, zoom in to see nearby features, or click on a park to get more info.

Whether you’re looking for:

  • 🏖️ The closest beach with lifeguards
  • 🏀 A basketball court near your neighborhood
  • 🌳 A quiet spot to walk or take the kids
  • 🏊 The right pool for swim lessons or lap lanes

— this map helps you find it fast. No more guessing or getting lost.

➡️ Explore the Interactive Map Here and discover all the parks, pools, beaches, and recreation centers the Town of Babylon has to offer — like a true local.
