Free Car Seat Inspections
On Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the Deer Park Fire Department will host a Free Car Seat Inspection event, presented by NY State Senator Monica R. Martinez in partnership with the NYS Troopers. Certified technicians will ensure your child’s car seat is properly installed and safe. Appointments are required—visit the link or scan the QR code to reserve your spot. Additional services including Operation Safe Child and Shed the Meds will be available on-site without an appointment, courtesy of the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office.
