Horseshoe Crab Program
Join the Fire Island Lighthouse Preservation Society for the Horseshoe Crab Program at the Fire Island Lighthouse. Guests will learn about these ancient creatures, enjoy a hands-on touch tank, and take a walk along the bay in search of horseshoe crabs coming ashore to lay their eggs. Attendees should dress for the weather, park at Robert Moses Field 5, and bring a flashlight for the walk back.
