Terrible service, poor workmanship, and unprofessional employees. BEWARE of this place. I took my car to S&T in June to have my brake pads replaced. A few hours later, the owner, Sal, called and said I needed all new rotors and brake pads. I found this surprising because I had replaced the rotors six months prior, but I allowed them to replace everything. $640 later, I got my car back and was told by Sal that if anything went wrong with the brakes within a year, it would be covered under warranty.
One month later, my engine light came on, and I returned my car to S&T. Sal called me three separate times: first to say I needed new coils and spark plugs, second to say I had a small oil leak to the muffler, and third to say I needed a timing belt and oil change. I agreed to all of this with a bill of almost $2,000.
Two weeks later, while driving, I heard a metal-on-metal grinding noise from my rear brakes. I returned my car to S&T to have it checked. Sal told me I had a seized caliper in the rear, which damaged the rotor and would be a “big job” to fix. I realized something didn’t seem right. A skilled mechanic would notice a seized caliper before installing new rotors. I asked Sal to give me my car back without further work, but he initially resisted, telling me "my car was already taken apart" I had to ask him two more times to return my car. When I went to pick up my car, it was still on the lift, and I waited for an hour before leaving. Two hours later, I was told it was ready, but the grinding noise was worse, and the brakes were smoking when I parked at home.
I reported S&T to the BBB. Sal called the next day and was angry about the complaint, saying I needed to remove it. I then took the car to another mechanic, who confirmed that the brake pads were installed incorrectly "put on backwards" and doubted that the rotors had ever been replaced.
S&T not only overcharged me but left my car in worse condition. I would give this place a below zero rating if possible. I am sharing this so others can avoid similar issues.

Sal is the best. #1. Over 30 years he has fixed my vehicles. At times when I had no choice but to try someone else. I always ended back at his shop to correct what they did. The whole family and Vinny are amazing people. Sal is honest and reliable to the point that if he says he fixed something and the problem persist afterwards. He doesn't lie or try to make excuses. He fixes it effortlessly. I recently moved to Florida and wish one of his kids would move here and open up shop. The area I'm living in could use a real mechanic like him. S&T auto is a rare breed and probably the last generation of real quality mechanics.

Honest and well qualified mechanics can be hard to find. Well they work here. They have done excellent service on my car. I have had three problems fixed here. Both control arms and then had them do my brakes. I feel confident bringing my car back for any work that needs to be done. Nice group of guys. Friendly and take pride in their work. Ladies, if you feel like some shops take advantage that your a woman, go here. They truly are honest mechanics!

I started going here when my son's friends recommended it to us about a year ago. Sal and his sons have always gone above and beyond when fixing our cars. They're good, honest, real mechanics that know what they're doing. They've looked at the cars and let me know what is wrong; and when something needs to get done, they let me know if I need to do it immediately or if it's something that can wait until another day. I highly recommend them. They're the best!
