Look at you. You made it through the entire December Events Guide — crafts, carols, cocktails, chaos and candy-cane-induced financial ruin. I’m proud of you.
Well, “proud” is a strong word. Let’s say… “mildly impressed you didn’t quit halfway and go watch Netflix.”
December in the Town of Babylon is packed — markets, concerts, parades, Santa sightings, brunches, tree lightings, and enough fundraisers to get half of you bumped from the Naughty List (temporarily).
So get out there. Be festive. Be chaotic. Be exactly who you’ve been all year:
beautifully imperfect Long Islanders trying to survive the holiday season with dignity.
Santa’s Tips for a Successful December:
- Bring gloves. You WILL lose one. It’s fate.
- Tip your bartenders. They’ve heard all your breakup stories already.
- Shop local. Amazon doesn’t care about your grandma.
- Drink water. Yes, even during Boozy Brunch Bingo.
- Don’t fight people over parking spots. Santa is watching. And judging.
