After hearing all the hype about this place, we finally got the chance to try it—and it did not disappoint. The food was incredible, the hospitality was top-notch, and the manager was amazing. She was so patient with us since there was so much to choose from on the menu and was super helpful in explaining everything (sorry, I forgot her name!). We’ll definitely be back to try more. The portions are great, and honestly, it’s some of the best soul food I’ve had in a while. Definitely give it a try—you won’t be disappointed! Oxtails over French fries AMAZING!!!!! 👍🏽

Tried it for the first time and food was excellent felt like home. Everything seasoned well and crispy. Portions are worth the price. Fresh juice. It's a tight space, long line so be prepared to wait and I mean wait!!! Get there early if there are menu items, you want to try, as the night goes on things come on and off the menu. Everyone was friendly and upbeat, good customer service.

I had been meaning to try this restaurant for months and finally got the opportunity. First off the food was phenomenal!! Very flavorful and decent portions. The service was great, the staff was super friendly. I love a menu that changes day by day to get the best product to the customer. The owner Angie was there with her staff helping complete orders, I love to see it. I was curious and looked to see why people would complain and it’s just noise. Don’t pay them any attention. If you are confused on how to order just ask, they are very busy and might not see you come in. It’s a smaller place so the line sometimes merges with the waiting area and every time I’ve passed by there is a line (which is a good sign people). So be patient and be kind to the folks handling your food. Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes. I’ve been telling all my friends about this restaurant.

Just left the place with me and my family. The manager was fun, nice, welcoming and so was the staff. They allowed us to try certain foods which is rare in food establishments nowadays. According to my dad the food was amazingly priced as well. The manager even let me try every sauce since it was our first time and we drove 45 minutes! Especially for a relatively new restaurant they deserve WAY more hype. Even the collard greens had a sweet under taste which surprisingly tasted amazing! And I’ve had bad collard greens. The lemon pepper had a sweet under taste as well which was amazing. I had an amazing experience and WOULD/WILL come again.

First time eating here with my friend and we both enjoyed our experience very much. Everyone working there was friendly and caring. Prices were great and my stomach was full. Will definitely be back to try more! We had the stewed chicken, fried whiting, Mac and cheese, rice and peas, collard greens. The food def reminded me of my time down south.
