Ordered delivery from Angie’s and I am definitely adding this to my list of top spots on the island. I ordered the jerk pork with mac n cheese and collard greens. The first thing I have to point out is how heavy the bag was. And I mean in a good way. The portion size is large and packed to the brim with juices flowing into the sides from the pork. The smell was heavenly before I even opened it up. First bite of the jerk pork and I was in love. The pork was so succulent and the sauce was the perfect mix of sweet, spicy and a little tangy. I always fear getting dry pork and this definitely was far from dry. The Mac n cheese was perfection and helped balance the spice from the pork. The greens were good too! I regret not ordering desert but sure will be next time! Thank you Angie and her staff! Can’t wait to try out some more menu items.

We got there 20 minutes after it opened yesterday and it was already packed inside and it didn’t let up that’s how we knew the food was good. This was our first ordering food from there. We got the Oxtails , Mac and Cheese, Yams and Cabbage and it was worth every penny spent! The staff were friendly and nice. Thank You Angie for some really good food. We enjoyed it!!

My first time in this place, i got oxtail stew with candied yams and Mac and cheese. When i tell you this is the best soul food i have ever had. I’m not exaggerating. The price is absolutely worth it. I got a good portion of the entry and the sides. The Mac and cheese was cheesy and flavorful. The candied yams were so good. The employees were nice and my food came out pretty fast. The restaurant looks very clean. Def coming back here again and again.

I’ve had Angie’s catered food at two family functions. This time we finally went to her spot! Her food is the very next best thing from home cooked food! The best part is, you don’t have to leave LI to get it.
Everything was on point and the portions are worth the price. Oxtail tender and very flavorful, Mac n cheese was mac’n, and the potato salad was hittin’.
The customer service is top notch! We love how everything flows when you walk in…the staff is welcoming, music is great of course and the vibe is right. Next time we’ll make sure to get there before the cobbler runs out 😩. We’re happy this place is around and hope LI gets more business like this. We need them! Go ‘head Angie!

My experience: This was my second visit at Angie’s Soul House. Today’s visit I ordered the fried flounder, mac & cheese and yams. Please note I could not wait until I returned home therefore I popped the lid and started eating in my car outside of the restaurant. The fried flounder was seasoned to perfection and oh baby, that crunch, yams (flavorful) and mac & cheese (creamy & cheesy) which was consistent with my 1st visit. The price point was under $30 (large portions). Furthermore, I called the restaurant during my 25 mile drive home, spoke directly with Angie because I wanted her to know my experience after eating her food. I told her it brought me joy and I felt compelled to let her know personally. Also, I was driving and eating at the same time. I actually had a tear in the corner of my left eye. In addition, the staff remained positive the entire time while working expeditiously to get everyone their order/s. A.S.H is always busy which is a clear sign. For me, Angie and her team has it figured out!
