This is a nice little local park with a lake. You can walk around the lake in just a few minutes, so it’s perfect for a short stroll. I imagine it’s especially nice to hang out here during the summer. We stopped by on one of the warmest days of the season, and the place was buzzing with people—families, joggers, folks just lounging around and enjoying the weather.
There’s a really small parking lot, so finding a spot can be a bit of a pain. We ended up parking a few blocks away and walking over, which wasn’t too bad.
If you’re into fishing, you can cast here for trout. It’s a pretty chill spot overall—great for a quick walk, fishing, or just relaxing by the water. There is a small playground as well for the kids.

It's a very nice spot, but some spots by the bridge looked unsafe, like the cement was going to crumble if I stood by it. I do love visiting, but maybe it needs some better upkeep.

Nice relaxing walk around the lake. The signs inform about the estuary, its wildlife & the recent repairs to nature (fish ladder) so they can migrate again.
Please don't feed the wildlife - by accident or intentionally 🙂
