I visited Belmont Lake State Park today, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! We rented a paddle boat for $20.00 and spent a relaxing time paddling around the beautiful lake. The water was calm, and the peaceful atmosphere was enhanced by the swans and geese swimming nearby—such a serene view!
The park itself was well-maintained, with plenty of open spaces and shaded areas for picnics. Belmont Lake State Park is a perfect destination. I highly recommend it!

We love the park. Have been coming here so many times for so many years. The Fall season is my favorite as the photos are incredibly beautiful. You dont even need a professional photographer, nature helps you out.
Great park to walk the dog, ride the bikes with the family, walk with friends. Kids love the playgrounds although they are not the best out there but at least there is something 😅 right?! The bathrooms are conveniently located next to the parking lot. There are picnic tables. Once I even stumbled into a greyhound dogs club with so many gorgeous pups in one place. Wow!
The ice cream truck is also always there in the summer! 😄

Nice park for a day out with kids. Pedal boats, rowboats, and kayaks are available for rent on the lake through the summer (max 4 passengers per pedal boat and 5 passengers per row boat).
Families can enjoy activities such as picnicking, playgrounds. The lake attracts trail walking, fishing and non-motorized boating. The 7.6 miles of trails throughout the park are available for hiking, walking, biking, nature observation and weather permitting, cross-country skiing.
Very crowded especially the picnic area.

This state park is absolutely stunning! The trails are well-maintained, offering breathtaking views and peaceful surroundings. Perfect for hiking, picnicking, BBQ, or just enjoying nature. A great spot for a relaxing day outdoors!

I really like that this State Park is sort of "Olde" like. Nice walking path. Certain areas around the Lake smells like a 100 year old wet mop. Cool lake paddle boats and canoes. Make sure to spray up, lot's of biting insects.
