I visited the park in February and had no entry fee. I walked around the lake and enjoyed the birds in the lake. Nice place for walking, jogging, biking,.. etc. The restroom was open in the middle of winter.

When visiting family in North Babylon, N.Y., I bike thru a few busy roads cross Deer Park,(Rt. 231) to ride Belmont Lake State Park. The trail at the park is connected to another bike,walk, trail that goes to Babylon Village. This trail also will take you to another lake with trails, Southards Pond, in Babylon . The biking trails are gravel not good for road bikes, wider tires much better on these trails. A fun ride off the highways with 4-6 miles to take you around the lakes , for some nice views!

Living in Long Island you should definitely take advantage of this beautiful Park.
Nature's show is on with the beautiful changing colors of the leaves.
The lake is gorgeous and it's a beautiful Trail to either walk With Friends and family.
You can also bring your dog on a leash.

Made a quick stop here to take some photos after the snow storm. This park is already a favorite of my family. The added layer of snow gave the scenery more depth and accented it's beauty!

Completed a 5K (2 times around the lake). The weather was perfect that day.
