Grateful for James and the Benjamin Franklin Plumbing Team
I called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing at 7:45 AM, and Erica answered with such warmth and professionalism. She let me know a technician would arrive between 8:00 and 12:00 and sure enough, James was at our house by 9:00.
We had a gas leak, and National Grid had shut off our gas until the issue could be repaired by a Licensed Master Plumber with Operator Qualification Task 87. James handled everything with care and expertise. He explained the situation clearly, answered all of my questions, and worked nonstop to complete the repair in just one day.
That evening, National Grid returned to restore service, and even their technician commented on the quality of the work James had done.
I felt completely taken care of from start to finish. Big thanks to James and the whole team for turning a stressful situation into a genuinely great experience.

Mike arrived earlier than expected, which was great. He replaced a drain assembly, needed to correct and update the old pipe layout. He was friendly and explained everything. He made sure both the sink and dishwasher drained without leaking.

Daniel was great! There was a leak with my sink and he was able to fix it. He also took the time to show me the issues and explained the solutions that he was implementing to fix the problem.

Proceed with caution or better still proceed with another plumbing company. I had a clogged toilet that should have been resolved by snaking it. The technician was not skilled enough to snake out the toilet tissue causing the blockage. As a result he had to uninstall the toilet remove the tissue and reinstall. Total cost over $1,300. When I made the point that the tissue should have been removed via snaking he tried to justify that the approach was the right one. I followed up with management (unresponsive and finally reached them after multiple calls) and they towed the same line.

I can't speak to the quality of their work, but I can tell you that they tried to royally rip me off. I needed help connecting my natural gas grill to the outdoor gas line. I had to pay the $75 diagnostic fee for them to come out, then they quoted me $629. That's $629 to connect a hose to a spout! I felt stupid after for calling them because of how easy it was, and I connected it myself. But the fact that they were prepared to charge me that much to connect a hose is ridiculous... essentially a scam. Buyer beware.
