Very disrespectful, I ordered a soup via Grub Hub with Canzy island, they sent a burnt soup, the macaroni, the meats were all burnt. When I called to complain they hung up the phone on me. Please do not buy foods from them and they should be reported .

Came in craving authentic Haitian food. It’s hard to find here in Long Island. But when we walked in, we were completely ignored by staff. Did not even want to take my mom’s order. They just wanted to chitchat amongst themselves. We left as soon as we saw the vibes. Disrespectful and the food even looked undesirable. I will not be back unless they step their cookies up!

The food is always fresh and delicious. The meat flavorful, never dry. The sos pwa and food portions are always perfect. This is my favorite restaurant to get authentic Haitian food. I love the service, its been a pleasant experience everytime Ive gotten food from here.

This place over charges for the bowls and plates. And the food is an absolute disrespect to true Haitian food. It’s not seasoned well and not salted.. I am beyond un satisfied. I paid 5 dollars for a small Mac n cheese bowl that is absolutely absurd. If I could leave a negative review. I would

I recently visited Canzy Island in Long Island hoping for some delicious Haitian food, but unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. I ordered the Tasso fritay, and the tasso itself had absolutely no flavor. The Akra was decent, and the fried banan was okay, though it was completely lacking salt. I also tried the griot and rice, and let me tell you, the griot was dreadful. It tasted like it had been fried in old, stale oil. A real red flag.
This place definitely does not represent authentic Haitian cuisine. If you’re craving Haitian food, do yourself a favor and drive to Queens instead. Try Good Taste or Flanm Cuisine – both serve fresh, flavorful food with generous portions. The prices are reasonable, and the quality is far superior to what I experienced here. Save yourself the disappointment and go elsewhere for real Haitian food.
