An absolutely beautiful funeral home. Impeccable landscaping and grounds.
Inside is very warm and homey. The place is furnished with big soft couches and chairs.
The ceiling in the chapel was a bit worse for wear and several tiles are waterstained and need to be replaced.
The only really bad thing was the folks who were working the day and evening of a dear friends wake. I could not believe how gruff they were.
None of the employees seems like they wanted to be there and it was very apparent.
We were given the bums rush when the service was over ..
Not the kind of service you would want for a loved one .
Maybe it was an off day, but if that's the case ..STAY HOME

Special thanks must go to Funeral Director Kristi S. for her attention to detail, always comforting words, and gentle guidance as we arranged and lovingly accomplished our dad's wake, funeral mass, and final rest. Kristi competently handled all the aspects of his services with the heartfelt sensitivity a grieving family needs at the saddest of times.

When my Father Thomas B. Smith passed away on 1/29/23 Charlie Spencer and his Staff did an amazing job with my family. Joe and Stephanie came to our home to escort my Father to Boyd- Spencer funeral home and they were so compassionate to my grieving family. Charlie was and still is so helpful to our needs. Steven and Kristy and the rest of the staff were very attentive at the wake, they even let my son stay after everyone left to spend some alone time saying goodbye to his grandpa. Charlie and his staff made a difficult situation so comforting to us. Charlie and his staff were able to accommodate a very large visiting crowd.
Charlie also was at the cemetery with us and he was able to help my family give my Dad a perfect send off. I personally can not say enough about the care Charlie and his staff us. Thank you so much for helping us during one of the worst times in our lives.

My father passed this last Sunday and we immediately contacted Charlie Spencer. He had, years ago, set up with my father a funeral arrangement agreement which made everything in that hard time easy. Charlie and Kristi were loving, caring, and made sure everything went smoothly from the first meeting through the wakes to the grave site. I cannot stress how important their involvement was, and how much I am now going to recommend everyone set up pre arrangements for their families.

The entire team have been, caring, compassionate, understanding and made sure we were satisfied with the entire process..Kristi was phenomenal! She got on a personal level with my entire family and took care of everything we needed- questions, shared and listened to our stories, so very helpful..can't say enough about her ..
