I called this company on Friday about 2pm, they were highly recommended
from a close friend of the owners. I told the receptionist the name of the person who recommended them.
She recognized the persons name but it seemed to make no difference either way. We live about a 5 minute drive from their office.
I told her we had no heat and that we have an elderly adult and three young children living here. She called her supervisor then called me back telling me they couldn’t get here until Monday. And if the weather was adverse they wouldn’t come Monday either. She proceeded to explain to me her payment policy.. $145.00 just to walk in the door for a diagnosis. Cash or credit card with a 4% fee for using a credit card. Feeling desperate and at a loss I made the appointment for Monday. Immediately I receive a text and e mail outlining the details of their pricing policy and appointment confirmation. No care or concern that I had no heat with small children and a blizzard was coming. Just all about them and their “policy’s”. And I’m sure they would have cancelled Monday and not come until Tuesday being that we did get a storm. So that would have been 4 days with no heat. Thankfully another friend recommended someone who was so kind and knowledgeable. The owner talked to me for 15 minutes on the phone asking me what I knew about the problems we were having with the boiler. He couldn’t come that Friday but planned to come the next morning.
My regular plumber ended up coming home a day earlier from his vacation and was able to come Saturday morning to help us.
I am semi retired now but worked many years as an accountant in the service industry. I would not recommend this Dowling Plumbing to anyone. I would have used the second recommended plumber had my regular guy not been able to come.
Thankfully there are still good business people out there that understand your needs as if they were their own. Not just about the money. But an all around sense of doing what is right. He was kind, compassionate and professional. It wasn’t all about “policy” and money, he cared about the persons problems. I called him to cancel telling him my regular plumber was coming and he said “ that’s fine, I hope he can fix everything, if you still need me please call”. That’s good business.

I have used this company numerous times in the past for both maintenance and system upgrades, most recently to install a new Navien system which is an heating system and a new bathroom. I have always been extremely satisfied. Every technician that came to my home has always been super polite, knowledgeable and professional. They are very mindful of your home and use extreme care to protect your personal property.
I recommend this company to everyone that considering upgrading the beauty and efficiency in your homes.

Professional, went above and beyond for my family after another company that we had a service contract with just left us with no heat & hot water. Tina in the office is an asset to the company! They installed a new heating system. Guys showed up on time, worked professional. Cleaned up after them selves. Dan the owner was in and out all day. After job was done Dan took the time to come back go over everything about the system with me. Made sure I new what to expect from the system answered every question I had in detail. Tonight my family goes to bed warm and toasty. Thank you Dowling Plumbing & Heating !!!!!!!!! Amazing Job !

Had two plumbing issues happen within hours on the same day. Dan came out sooner than expected, fixed both issues quickly at a great price! So glad they were referred to us. We will definitely be keeping their number in our contacts for any future problems. Great work, great service, great people!
