Stopped by in passing for a quick bite and picked up a plate of jerk pork with plantains and cabbage. The food was good. My only complaint was the jerk marinade on the pork was very salty and based on the taste, I believe it was the store bought jerk marinade from a jar and not home made. Jerk marinade in a jar is very salty to me. Everything else was good overall.

I absolutely love the food here—it's hands down the best Jamaican cuisine I’ve had on Long Island. Unfortunately, the customer service has consistently fallen short during my visits, and today was the most uncomfortable experience yet. From the moment I walked in, I was stared at in a way that made me feel unwelcome. While my food was being prepared, I noticed the staff whispering and looking in my direction, which only added to the discomfort. The atmosphere felt tense until I paid and left. As much as I enjoy the food, I’m not sure I’ll be returning.

The food was delicious, the portions were generous, but the three small tables were all dirty & needed to be cleaned. I met a friend there for lunch, but it's more of a take out place. Once back at my house the food was all worth it. And, they only had two ladies working the counter, with one more the line could move faster & they could keep up with the table cleaning.

So here I am writing another review this so happens to be the third Jamaican restaurant in the North Amityville area.. they're all within 1 mile of each other. I don't need to say the names because majority of you who are from the area know the names already so I'm taking the time to write about this one. What sets this particular establishment apart from the two others is the customer service experience. They all smile they all have pleasant attitudes they get the customer service experience right.. the dish that stands out to me now this is my preference is the fried chicken and the macaroni and cheese... now if you are familiar with macaroni and cheese it doesn't matter who cooks it macaroni and cheese will never come out the same.. for right now though this place has been on point I will also recommend the shrimp.. now this is have many choices of Jamaican food so I would challenge you to give this place a try it's great to have choices and not be in a monopolized position or to accept bad customer service.. now my last compliment will be about the space and this restaurant it's wonderful is a place where you can meet and greet they play nice music and a clean restroom.. stay tuned for more pics to come
