I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to J. Slinger-Hasgill Funeral Home for the way they handled my grandfather, Mr. Herbert Lee Payne’s, homegoing services this past Friday. During such an incredibly difficult time for our family, their professionalism and care made all the difference.
They treated my grandfather’s memory with dignity and gave us the support we needed throughout the entire process. In moments of grief, it’s important to have people who genuinely care, not about the cost, but about honoring your loved one and standing by your family.

Unfortunately, my family has needed to call on Slinger- Hasgill Funeral Services on three separate occasions in the last two years. Each time, Joseph Slinger handled our requests with great care. Our family members were well attended, to such an extent that funeral attendees and extended family members called to remark how well the services were handled. The use of the on site chapel was comfortable and convenient, making a difficult time so much easier! Thank you Joseph Slinger and staff for your excellent service!

Everything was great from the beginning of the process to the end. My brother passed away in Watkins Glen NY which is about a 5 hour ride from Long Island. Joe Slinger drove there to pick up my bothers body and bring him back to Long Island where the services were held. I appreciate everything that he did for my brother, the deceased and for my family. Thanks so much for your 5 star service.

From the beginning to the end Mr. Slinger extended Top Tier service exceeding my family’s expectations. He also coordinated with the other funeral home to make arrangements for my aunt to be transported to Alabama. Everything was executed smoothly during such a difficult time. Most importantly that my family (who’s from out of state) trusted my recommendation.
