When my mother passed away in December 2024, a family friend recommended this funeral home to my sister and me. We called several funeral homes looking for a budget-friendly option, and Joseph was the only one who offered a reasonable price without compromising quality or compassion.
We knew we were in good hands from the moment we met Joseph in person. He was organized, friendly, and genuinely had our best interests in mind. There was no pressure to upgrade or purchase anything we didn’t need — he presented a variety of options and let us choose what worked best for us.
Just four months later, my father passed away, and there was no hesitation — we called Joseph again. Once more, he delivered exactly what we envisioned. Both of my parents looked beautiful in their caskets, and the entire process was handled with care, professionalism, and respect.
Joseph and his team made everything, from arrangements to the burial, as smooth as possible during such an emotionally difficult time. The funeral home itself is clean, orderly, and has a pleasant scent, which might seem like a small detail, but it contributed to the peaceful atmosphere we all experienced.
Joseph is a warm, hardworking individual who has clearly invested time and care into his business. He truly cares about the families he serves. For Spanish-speaking families, there are staff members who can assist with communication, which is a huge plus.

I laid my father to rest on June 12, 2025 and I couldn’t do it without the funeral services of Joseph A. Slinger Hasgill Funeral Services. From start to finish the process was seamless and Joe handled this sensitive situation with professionalism and care. My family was 100% satisfied with how the funeral arrangements were done by Joe and his team. I fully recommend them for ALL your funeral needs. I also used this funeral home for my mom’s services in 2021 and they provided the same level of care and professionalism. Job well done.

Joseph Slinger Hasgill did an amazing job for my mother’s funeral. When we called, he knew right away how important it was for us to lay her to rest at the funeral home that had laid all of her family members to rest. He communicated well throughout the entire process and managed me in my wanting every thing perfect and he made sure that it happened. Mom looked like her beautiful self, the flowers were done perfectly, the minister was wonderful and we are very grateful.

In the past few weeks, I lost both my mother-in-law and my sister. In both cases, I reached out to Slinger-Hasgill to handle the arrangements. As a family, we are grateful to have had Joe Slinger, and his Team support us during this very difficult time.
