Words cannot express the depth of gratitude I feel for Dr. Bekelis, who quite literally gave my daughter Allison Winthrop her life back. For so long, we watched helplessly as daily migraines robbed her of joy, hope, and the simple pleasure of waking up without pain. There were dark days when she wondered if she could go on living with such suffering, and as her mother, those were the hardest moments I’ve ever faced.
Then Dr. Bekelis came into our lives like an answer to our prayers. The procedure he performed was nothing short of miraculous. Today, Allison wakes up each morning with a smile on her face, still amazed that the pain that once controlled her life is finally gone. Watching her rediscover happiness has been the greatest gift our family could ever receive. Dr. Bekelis is more than an exceptional neurosurgeon—he is a compassionate healer who truly cares about his patients. Good Samaritan Hospital is blessed to have someone of his caliber and character. I also want to extend my heartfelt thanks to his wonderful staff, who showed endless patience with my countless phone calls and questions. Dr.Bekelis I love you.You made me feel at ease about this procedure.I had the feeling that I was being taken care of by my own family.Your whole staff from the office to Good Sam was incredible.Im sorry I forget your NP’s name at the office but she was wonderful.Any help I ever needed she was there,and contacting me after the follow up to see how I was doing.For a scary procedure you made me feel so comfortable.I would recommend you to anyone that has the same situation as myself.I was really so impressed with how friendly and down to earth you were.Now I know why you are so busy.You and your staff were the best.If had a relative or friend that need this or any procedure done,that lived outside of New York I would tell them to fly here and come see this wonderful Doctor.

Dr. Bekelis saved my life. I had gotten checked for migraines before and the tests came back normal. Thank God that I was referred to him . I would have had a stroke if he hadn't done the proper tests. He is an amazing doctor!. God bless!

Dr Bekelis is the most skilled neurosurgeon but also a compassionate and kind person. I was very lucky to have been under his care and experienced an excellent recovery. His staff also reflect his values. Thank you for saving my life!
