Our case was handled by James Murtha. I will agree that the process is smooth and everything is handled in a timely manner from a documents perspective, however, the actual court hearing was a different case. I appeared at the Court hearing and Mr. Murtha actually said "what am I doing here - that I'm wasting my time". I couldn't believe it. It's my right to be in court and isn't it easier when your client is there to discuss matters at hand? Limited negotiation skills from this attorney - pretty much whatever the tenant asked for, the tenant got. This attorney was not fighting for us. We settled for a much less than desirable outcome and forget about going to trial with this attorney. Definitely would not recommend.

I recently reached out to [Long Island eviction law firm] to seek assistance with drafting a simple contract for an upcoming move. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was quite curt and unhelpful, leaving me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a potential client.
Instead of receiving guidance, I was met with a lack of patience and a dismissive attitude. I had hoped for a supportive partnership to help navigate this process, but I left the conversation feeling more confused and discouraged.
I cannot recommend this firm based on my experience. It’s important to feel respected and understood when seeking legal help, and I did not feel that here.
