Our case was handled by James Murtha. I will agree that the process is smooth and everything is handled in a timely manner from a documents perspective, however, the actual court hearing was a different case. I appeared at the Court hearing and Mr. Murtha actually said "what am I doing here - that I'm wasting my time". I couldn't believe it. It's my right to be in court and isn't it easier when your client is there to discuss matters at hand? Limited negotiation skills from this attorney - pretty much whatever the tenant asked for, the tenant got. This attorney was not fighting for us. We settled for a much less than desirable outcome and forget about going to trial with this attorney. Definitely would not recommend.

If you’re looking for good attorney to evict your tenants, don’t look any farther.. they are THE BEST. In my over 20 years experience as a landlord I dealt with a lot of “ problematical tenants “ and when in my last case my attorney failed to evict my tenants ( I thought I would be stuck with them forever) I hired Long Island Eviction Law Firm. From the beginning they were very professional and quick with advice. The outcome of the case was big success for me and I don’t even have to go to court.
