This restaurant is amazing. The Turkish foods are authentic and delicious. At 1st I wasn't too sure what to get, but the guy behind the counter gave me suggestions and also gave me some samples to try. He said the gyros are very popular, but when I was there, they were already sold out. I got the mix pie, the lahmacun, and the adana kebab, and they were so tasty. The breads are fresh and very crispy and there's also fresh Turkish teas which are on the house. And to top it off, there's a supermarket next door which has a variety of Turkish items including fresh baklava. Fyi, the meats are all Hallal

Nazar is hands down one of my favorite Turkish spots in NY! It’s both a restaurant and grocery store in one location, which is super convenient. My go-to is the mix grill—it’s packed with all their delicious meats like lamb chop, Adana kebab, and kofte. And the white rice? I could eat that by itself—it’s that good!
They offer complimentary tea, which is perfect for winter days. After dining, you pay at the grocery cashier, which makes the whole experience unique. Their lamacun is the best I’ve had in NY, freshly baked and worth the 7-10 minute wait. I still need to try their popular mix appetizers, but the specials like lentil soup and cheesy creamy chicken are top-notch. The staff are always friendly and make you feel welcome.
Plenty of seating, amazing food, and great service—definitely recommend!

Use to love this place but recently the food doesn’t taste the same. Today the meat was over cooked and dry. $20 on a small order of jerky basically

One of my favorite Turkish spots on the island. Family-owned and run, with a cozy restaurant attached to a grocery store. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. Consistently great—never disappoints.

This is a weekly staple at my house. The food is great, the guys working are awesome. But the food, the food is top notch, I’ve tried a few things but my go to is the Mixed Grilled w/ White Rice. And the bread is awesome too. Definitely try it out.
