It’s funny how my review disappeared. The first time everything went well with my visit. Visit number two for herniated disc sitting on a nerve. He mentions injections I said I don’t want injections. He turns his chair looks me straight in the face and says then what are you doing here?
He mentioned I was too old for anything else. Mentioned it a few times. There is ablation and other procedures. His practice should be called Injections and more injections. I know they only last a short time and you’re back again for another round of injections. No thanks and my the way I am not too old for other procedures Linda Schrank

I have to say I am too young to suffer from chronic back pain. If it wasn’t for New York Spine & Pain, I would not be walking right now. After my back surgery they have been treating me and they listen to what I say and treat accordingly. I would recommend Dr. Johnson. The whole team is great actually!!!

It's been 7 years and Dr Finkelstein has managed my pain effectively. He uses the most up-to-date procedures.
His NP is great she is knowledgeable and caring.The staff is courteous and friendly .The office has continued to improve year after year.

Barbara Somers is the very BEST ! She is a very sincere and caring practitioner, she epitomizes how medical professionals should care for their patients !! She is always consistent in her promptness to achieve highest level of care for me, all her patients are important to her, she has gone above and beyond to advocate for me, upon my initial consultation with her I was in crippling pain, unable to barely walk, she addressed my needs immediately and has always taken great care of me, You will NOT be disappointed, she takes time to hear your concerns and never makes you feel “rushed” out the door ! She’s also Brilliant !! Very intellectual, she’s kind caring and sincere ! I would never go to anyone else to care for me. P.S.- Jessica L. at the front desk is beyond what you would expect from a doctors office , she always greets you with a smile and is so helpful ! She’s amazing and such an asset to the team there ! It all starts “at the door” as they say ... and Jessica will do whatever it takes to help meet your needs, she also follows up when she says she will !

I met Dr. Johnson for the first time this morning. I rate him with 5 stars. Unfortunately prescription for the medication he wants me to take was sent to the wrong pharmacy. When I called the office, their automated phone system cut out and dumped me into voice mail. No one returned call. This also happened when I tried to make my initial appointment. I had to go there in person to make an appointment.
