Well made pie made well done, Nico’s charred pizza unique taste and amazing location make this an easy must try. The regular/Pepperoni pie was very good, with a great crunch and delicious flavor from the pepperoni. The white slice was good, but personally we see the dollops of Ricotta to be an unnecessary addition that takes away more than it adds to the slice. Overall though we will definitely be returning here in the future.

Came here/Root + Branch on a Friday night for some lowkey pizza and craft beers. I had been wanting to try Root + Branch for a while since I moved to Suffolk and didn't realize they had a pizza place in store too, and boy do they make a good pie! We ordered the French onion, the jalapeño pepperoni and a traditional Margherita, each of them delicious in their own right, but if you're getting just one, then my favorite was the jalapeño pie. Crust is super light and crispy, but flexible, which was a pleasant surprise to the pizza folder in me that is used to these thin neapolitan style pies that break apart on me. Pair their pies with any delicious beer from the bar and you have a recipe for a great night. Service was kind and relatively quick and decent amount of seating even on a Friday night (there's even more outdoor if the weather is nice). Parking right in front is plentiful and right near the train should you choose that option. A lowkey spot to enjoy good eats and drinks, chalk me up for plenty of return visits.

Nico's charred Pizza Pies did not disappoint. I ordered the special of the day, which was called the Brooklyn style pie. Upon delivery, I immediately noticed the char on the crust, the balanced browning on the cheese and just the right amount of fresh basil, placed throughout the pie. The crust and undercarriage were firm, just the way I like it. It was evident immediately that the ingredients used were of great quality and not cheap, fast food substitutes. The sauce had just the right amount of acidity, the mozzarella was delicious and didn't get rubbery as the pie cooled, and the charring was perfect and added just the right amount of flavor to compliment the pie. From the first bite to the last, I thoroughly enjoyed this pizza.

I swear this is the best pizza I’ve ever had in my entire life. Anywhere. Any state. Any country. We discovered it, ate it, and then came back and ordered it the very next day. Then recently, we went out to dinner at a Mexican restaurant(also was very delicious), and then came home and ordered this pizza for dessert. Also, the owners are super chill and friendly. Please bury me with this pizza. 🍕

Pizza is great. We had pepperoni with hot honey. Definitely one of the better pizzas in the area. We went there on Saturday afternoon and we had to wait about 45 minutes for one pie. They only have 1 small oven, but there is bar so you can enjoy couple of beers while you wait. Even though the pizza is good, you don't get a lot of it for your money. We paid $30 for the pie, which is 6 small slices.
