I was referred to Premier Endo for a 9:00 AM consult on 2/27. I was told by the assistant that I will be seen by Dr. Kim. The front desk staff and dental assistant were polite and professional, but the experience with Jimin Mina Kim (Dr. Kim), DDS was shockingly rude and disrespectful.
After X-rays were taken, she immediately demanded to know where my referral was. I said I assumed it had been sent electronically since I wasn’t given a paper copy. That’s when her tone flipped completely. She became loud, exaggerated, and deeply condescending, repeating over and over in a slow, over-pronounced voice — like someone scolding a small child:
“IN THIS COUNTRY YOU NEED A REFERRAL.”
Again: “IN THIS COUNTRY YOU NEED A REFERRAL.”
Then dragging it out word by word: “IN… THIS… COUNTRY… YOU… NEED… A… REFERRAL.”
And then:
“IN THIS COUNTRY IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE IT.”
Repeated multiple times in the same patronizing tone.
The constant emphasis on “IN THIS COUNTRY” was humiliating and bizarre. For the record (not that it should matter), I’m white and about as “from here” as it gets, so what exactly she meant by saying that over and over can really only be explained by the doctor herself. It was unnecessary, aggressive, and frankly absurd.
Instead of calmly helping or simply calling the referring dentist (which offices do every day), she chose to lecture me in a way that felt very demeaning, hostile and RACIST.
I chose to end the appointment rather than escalate things and informed the front desk about her behavior before leaving. It’s disappointing because the rest of the staff was courteous, but one doctor’s attitude ruined the entire visit. No patient should ever be spoken to in that tone, or with those words.

Dr. Gupta and his assistant are absolutely fantastic!!! Just went yesterday for a root canal and let me tell you that he is so good it was better then getting a cavity filled absolutely painless and they explained everything! I won't go anywhere eles for a root canal !!

I needed a last minute appt for an emergency 🦷 root canal (which actually ended up being a Vital pulp Treatment, due to my daughter’s age, etc) for my 13 yo who was in excruciating pain. They squeezed us in same day and we were seen as soon as we got in there. Dr Glenna Lee, and her assistant, were both amazing & so kind and explained everything that needed to be done so thoroughly & answered multiple questions/concerns my daughter and myself had. Unfortunately they don’t take our insurance so I did have to pay out of pocket (which I knew from the start), but I am so glad that I was able to get in right away with this office then any other place. Would definitely come here in the future for any other endodontic emergencies that may arise! Thank you for taking care of my daughters tooth and relieving her from pain! Also very impressed with how sweet and kind the ladies at the front desk were (not many medical/dental offices have nice receptionists that I’ve encountered at least) but everything is so organized and smoothly ran there. Overall, very happy with our whole experience at Premier Endodontics.. So much so that i felt the need to write my very first google review here. I will definitely recommend them to anyone I know who is in need of a dental specialist! Thank you premier Endodontics! 😊

Root canal appt. referral in the Medford office with Stephanie Bernard, DDS 1st visit.
I would definitely recommend. Positive experience in a less than positive situation. 12/31/25 morn. Appt that went well, as I had to work a double shift right after. All good.
This proceedure was performed Professionally and expeditiously in a compassionate and friendly environment. No, issues post proceedure.

My daughter had a root canal done in this office. The procedure was explained thoroughly to me & my daughter had one of the girls hold her hand because she had anxiety. That was so sweet! 🦷 Thank you guys for the great customer service!
