Straight Tax Cleared Over $8,600 in IRS Debt !!!
I’m writing this review on behalf of my mother, Nelly Auringer, who doesn’t leave reviews but insisted I share what Straight Tax did for her.
In 2024, she walked into their office completely stressed. She had a $6,900 tax bill between federal and state because of a return that was filed incorrectly by another firm back in 2021.
Straight Tax immediately performed a full Tax Account Discovery for her and realized the return had major issues. From there, they took over a dozen calls to the IRS, pulled transcripts, explained everything to us clearly, and amended the 2021 return.
It wasn’t easy — it took 18 months of follow-up because of government shutdowns and IRS processing delays — but they never gave up.
As of January 2026, my mom’s balance is officially $0 — fully cleared.
To date, Straight Tax saved her $8,652 in IRS debt, interest, and penalties.

I’ve been getting my taxes done at straight tax for years and this is officially my first review. Most people share negative experiences before they share positive ones. Iam not the aforementioned type of person. The receptionist Jhon was top tier! Very helpful and polite. I almost wanted him to do my taxes. Whatever y’all do keep him and promote him. The only reason I gave 5 stars is because jhon’s service was top tier. I would’ve gave it 4 because they took their bk office away. Sowwy! 🫶🏽🥴 but shout out to jhon!

I was refered 3 years ago and have been using them ever since. They are amazing and have your best at heart. !! Excellent customer service and very quick!
