A Diner is a Diner is a Diner... most of the time.
So what separates the good from the best?
Is it the greeting upon arrival, the staff, the atmosphere, the seating, the food?
All these things have a cumulative effect but ultimately the food is a biggie that's for sure.
Terrace Diner pretty much checks all the boxes!
Our meals were good, the Greek Salad with chicken was full of goodies ( olives, tomatoes, red onions, feta, cucumber, peppers stuffed grape leafs) and plenty too, even could share (see pic's). The Swiss Burger and fries was okay, the burger meat didn't seem the best quality(certainly not the wagyu variety) , but it was a craving and hit the spot at the moment.
This is what Diners are all about, salads, burgers, fries, soup, coffee breakfast, oh and rice pudding are typical items to order and the Terrace Diner filled the order for us.
Try it out and let me know.

I finally got here, even though I live nearby after moving from NJ recently. Southwest Chic Panini and fish sandwich was real good. Good mash potatoes. Salty, crunchy fries and Coffee was good! Our waitress was nice and pleasant. So ill be going back. Maybe try breakfast next time..

Just had breakfast here. Had the Garden Omelet. It came with hash browns and toast. It was good (but it did need a bit more salt). I also got iced coffee (with a free refill), which came with a separate bottle of creamer. That was even better. And the price was very reasonable. I definitely recommend this place.

A few days ago, me and a few buddies enjoyed a midday feast here. Jenn greeted us and brought out the chow. She was very upbeat and friendly. We each had a different entree. Mine was called "SOUTHERN FRENCH TOAST"...with strawberries, banana, walnuts, cinnamon, and whipped cream. Even with this amazing combination of tasty ingredients, my favorite part was the French Toast. The creative chef found the perfect balance between soggy and crusty. Wondering why there's no photo? Use your imagination to create your own...then magnify your mind's menu. VOILA!

Found this place while traveling through NY. When we first pulled in it looked packed and we was worried about the wait. Went in and was seated right away. Waitress came right over and took our order. We ordered the Farmes Omelet. We received our food within 10 minutes or less. It was delicious and the price was reasonable considering it is NY. I would definitely eat here again.
