Honestly? One of the most underwhelming beach experiences I’ve had in a while. If you're looking for waves, energy, or even fun, forget it. The water was dead flat, not even a ripple to boogie board on. No waves, no vibe. They have a bar restaurant tho great for the young kids teen and adults, not really.
The beach itself was tiny — more like a stretched-out sandbox with tired families quietly watching their toddlers splash around in ankle-deep water. It felt less like a beach day and more like I stumbled into someone’s extended family picnic.
There is nothing to do, nothing to ride, especially if u a teen or adult. If you’re a thrill-seeker or even mildly craving fun — skip it. Two stars is generous. Honestly, 1.5 if I could. This beach needs a wake-up call.

It’s a nice little cozy set up for kids. Lots of parking and next to a beach. The place have a few food options as well. When we went the sprays were not working still fun activity for kids.

Great state park at the Long Island shore of the Atlantic Ocean. This place is actually located in the town of Oyster Bay, it has two distinct beaches, one faces the bay and the second one is on the ocean. The parking is plentiful most of the time, and it has a couple of bars and restaurants on location. It's clean and well organized.

An easy walk from the parking lot to the beach. Traffic sounds from Ocean Parkway muffled by the bluffs. Unfortunately due to erosion and weathering the beach is shorter but there is always plenty of room. Beautiful panoramic view of the ocean, on a clear day you can see the Fire Island Lighthouse in the east. Great spray park. Wonderful Bayside restaurant with live music on Friday nights. A great place to enjoy a sunset. My family has been enjoying our summers at Tobay Beach for over 2 decades from when my adult children were young and today with my 11 year old. To be honest it is a great place to visit year round!

Good time except for the fact that my kids came home with hand foot and mouth. Hopefully they start sanitizing this place a little better.
