I called 5 different places in the West Babylon and Lindenhurst areas prior to calling this place (on behalf of someone else) to simply ask the prices of 1 brand in 2 different sizes. All 5 places prior to calling Winemasters Liquor Mart had absolutely no problem with immediately giving me the prices on the phone. Afterall, each item has a price! When I called this place, after receiving a response of "we don't do that", there was nobody on the call but myself. I called right back to clarify his answer and make sure a potential, regular customer wasn't rudely hung up on, it was confirmed that they don't give prices on the phone if requested, that you have to come to their store to find out the price. It's normal in this economy to ask about prices ("shop around") before making trips, especially when it's something that will be purchased regularly. Customer service was shocking! The business could have said something along the lines of I'm sorry, our policy is not to give prices over the phone or simply answered the question about the price of a product for sale; I was genuinely taken back by "we don't do that".

LOVE the new management!!!! The store is fully stocked, prices are reasonable and the hours are great! Would love to see more Portuguese wines, but still so many wines to choose from. This is my #1 store for wine. UPDATE: They have expanded their wine selection!

Winemasters was a great store for a number of Years, great pricing, great selection. They were very popular and busy. The last couple of years though they have very little on the shelves. I thought they were going out of business for a while. If you don't have anything to sell, no one has anything to buy. I don't go there anymore.
