Hey everyone! Our 2nd Rescue and Shelter Networking Event will be held on Friday, September 19th at 7:15 PM at Maximum Canine. Based on your input, this upcoming meeting will focus on practical skills and hands-on support. We’ll be doing a few quick demos that act as a refresher on key foundational skills—simple but essential techniques that make a big impact in day-to-day shelter and rescue work, such as:
* Properly fitting a slip lead
* Safely removing a dog from a kennel
* Loose Leash Walking

If you attended the first meeting, we encourage you to bring volunteers from your team to this one. These are the people handling dogs every day—and this session is designed with them in mind. As always, we’ll leave time to connect, share, and continue growing this network together.
