Join Senator Alexis Weik and the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office for Shed The Meds, a free drop-off event for the safe disposal of unused or unwanted prescription medications. Held at the Lindenhurst Memorial Library, this initiative helps protect Long Island’s drinking water and keeps harmful drugs out of the wrong hands. Please note: no syringes or liquids accepted.
