The goal of this program is for each participant to start writing a fictional short story or to begin revising a short story that they currently have in progress. Creative nonfiction is welcome too! The class will begin with an introduction to short-story writing followed by a quiet period of writing. Prompts will be provided for inspiration, but participants are not required to use those prompts. The class will conclude with a workshopping session in which each participant shares what they have written and receives feedback. This class is open to anyone interested in short story writing—experienced or not.
Registration begins June 16 at 9:30 a.m. Click here to sign up: https://babylonpl.librarycalendar.com/event/short-story-writing-workshop-3977
