🐱 About Angie

Say hello to Angie, a regal young cat with soft, velvety grey fur and radiant green eyes that seem to see right into your soul. Angie arrived at the Babylon Animal Shelter on October 11, 2024, at just 5–6 months old, and has grown into a gentle, watchful feline full of quiet confidence.

She’s been spayed, microchipped, is FeLV/FIV negative, up to date on all vaccinations, and free of parasites — she’s truly the whole package, just waiting for the right forever family.

If you’re searching for a calm, elegant companion to curl up with and share your space, Angie may be the purr-fect addition to your home.

🏠 How to Adopt Angie

Angie is available for adoption at the Babylon Animal Shelter. You do not need to be a Town of Babylon resident to adopt a pet. Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome to visit the shelter and find their match!

Shelter Adoption Hours:

• Monday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before closing to ensure enough time with the adoption staff.

No appointment necessary — walk-ins welcome during regular business hours.

💵 Adoption Fees

All adoption fees are cash only and include spay/neuter, microchip, vet exam, parasite prevention, and vaccinations.

• Cats/Kittens: $65
• Senior Adopters (60+): $35

📋 The Adoption Process

1. Speak with an adoption counselor by phone or in person to learn more about Angie.
2. Fill out an adoption application and bring a valid photo ID.
3. Bring all household members to meet the pet before adoption day.
4. If you own a dog, a dog-to-dog meet-and-greet is required on-site.
5. If Angie is still undergoing her medical hold, staff will let you know when she’ll be ready to go home!

Note: The shelter does not take applications on cats or rabbits before they are medically cleared for release.
