- Content Ownership & Rights
You certify that you own or have the appropriate rights and permissions to publish any text, images, or other materials included in your submission. Do not upload copyrighted material unless you have permission.
- Relevance to the Town of Babylon, NY
Submitted events must be physically located in, or primarily serve, the residents of the Town of Babylon or its surrounding communities. We reserve the right to reject or remove events that do not meet this local relevance requirement.
- No Spam, Scams, or Inappropriate Content
We do not accept:
- Events that promote hate speech, discrimination, or violence
- False or misleading events
- Repetitive or irrelevant postings
- Adult-only or illegal activities
- MLM/pyramid schemes or overly commercial promotions without a legitimate event
- Edits, Approvals & Removals
All event submissions are subject to review and approval by the ILoveBabylon.com editorial team. We reserve the right to:
- Edit for clarity, formatting, grammar, or style
- Remove submissions that violate these terms or our community standards
- Ban repeat violators from future submissions
- Promotion & Distribution
By submitting an event, you grant ILoveBabylon.com permission to promote it across our website, newsletter, social media, and affiliated media outlets. This includes reformatting or excerpting event content as needed.
- Liability & Indemnity
You agree to hold ILoveBabylon.com, its owners, and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from your event or any inaccuracies in your submission.
Terms of Submission for Business Directory Listings
By submitting or editing a business listing on ILoveBabylon.com or BabylonLocal.com, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Accuracy & Responsibility
You affirm that all information provided (business name, description, categories, address, phone number, website, hours, photos, etc.) is accurate, complete, and up to date. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your listing and for keeping it current.
- Content Ownership & Rights
You certify that you own or have the necessary rights and permissions to publish any text, images, logos, or other materials included in your listing. Do not upload copyrighted or trademarked material without proper authorization.
- Local Relevance
Submitted businesses must be physically located in, or actively provide goods or services to, the Town of Babylon or its surrounding communities. We reserve the right to reject listings that do not meet this local relevance requirement.
- No Spam, Scams, or Inappropriate Content
We do not accept:
- Listings that promote hate speech, discrimination, or violence
- False, misleading, or deceptive business claims
- Repetitive or duplicate listings
- Adult-only or illegal businesses
- MLM/pyramid schemes or purely promotional content without a legitimate business operation
- Edits, Approvals & Removals
All submissions are subject to review and approval by our editorial team. We reserve the right to:
- Edit listings for clarity, formatting, grammar, or style
- Reassign listings to more appropriate categories
- Remove listings that violate these terms or our community guidelines
- Ban repeat violators from submitting future listings
- Promotion & Distribution
By submitting a business listing, you grant ILoveBabylon.com and BabylonLocal.com permission to promote it across our website, directories, newsletters, social media channels, and affiliated media outlets. This includes reformatting or excerpting content as needed.
- Listing Level & Payment Terms
If you select a paid listing option, payment terms, renewal dates, and upgrade/downgrade options will be outlined during checkout. Non-payment may result in suspension or removal of your listing.
- Liability & Indemnity
You agree to hold ILoveBabylon.com, BabylonLocal.com, their owners, and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from your business operations, content inaccuracies, or any disputes related to your listing.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, for any reason, and without warning, which may result in the forfeiture and destruction of all information associated with your account.
Modifications to the Service
I Love Babylon reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Services (or any part thereof) with or without notice.
