✨ Welcome to Your Official Excuse to Skip Chores This Weekend
Before you lace up your sneakers for a 5K, grab your tote bag for the farmers market, or throw on a fedora for the Italian Food Festival (because of course you’re dressing the part), a quick heads up: check the forecast before you commit. Some of these events are outdoors, and while Babylon’s weather is usually as delightful as a salt-rimmed margarita, we’ve seen it flip faster than a TikTok ban in an election year.
What else is happening…We’ve got slime parties for kids (don’t ask what happens if it rains), Dio tribute bands reuniting one last time (because they’ve said that before), and more 80s-themed events than a Stranger Things finale. From family-friendly bike rides to spiritual breathwork and actual courtroom drama on stage — yes, A Few Good Men is back and yes, you still can’t handle the truth — this weekend is stacked.

As evening rolls in, kids get their own night out with pizza, slime, and wearable art at Design Your Own Apparel, also hosted by The Color Palette. Meanwhile, parents might prefer to grab a drink and some tunes at Miller’s Ale House with Papa Craig or enjoy live music at the Belfast Gastropub.
Looking to dance? Then head to Rock of 80s at Katch or jam out to Pour Some 80s On Me at Salt Shack. If rock legends are more your style, don’t miss the Ronnie James Dio tribute show in Amityville. And for something educational but empowering, there’s The Truth About Menopause workshop at Sea Change Holistic Wellness Center.
