The fallout stretched through the week: heavy rain briefly stranded vehicles and shut both directions of Route 110 in East Farmingdale near Conklin Street, and a PSEG outage rippled into the LIRR’s Babylon Branch, forcing delays, a service suspension, and at least one canceled westbound train.
