There’s a new way to stay connected in the Town of Babylon. Babylon Local, a weekly digital newsletter and community magazine, has officially launched to celebrate the people, places, and businesses that make our town such a vibrant place to live, work, and visit.

Created by Ryan O’Neil Williams, local publisher of I Love Babylon and digital media consultant, Babylon Local covers news, events, business highlights, and local insights from every corner of the township — including Amityville, Babylon Village, Lindenhurst, Copiague, Deer Park, East Farmingdale, North Amityville, North Babylon, North Lindenhurst, West Babylon, Wheatley Heights, Wyandanch, and our beautiful barrier islands.

A New Platform for Local Voices

The publication is now inviting local experts, business owners, and community organizations to participate through three new engagement opportunities:

  • 📝 Expert Tips & Insights – Share short, practical tips in your area of expertise. Each feature includes your name, business, and link for full credit.
  • 📣 Business Spotlights & Advertiser Features – Promote your story, service, or upcoming event to thousands of engaged Babylon-area readers.
  • 🤝 Community Sponsorships – Support ongoing coverage while gaining month-long visibility across Babylon Local’s newsletter, website, and social channels.

“These opportunities are about connection — giving local experts and small businesses a platform to shine, and giving residents a reason to rediscover everything our town has to offer,” said Williams. “Babylon Local is community-first media for a community that cares.”
