From the Babylon Public Library:
Early Hollywood, more than any other place in America, reflected the βJazz Age”, a time when young people in particular sought to break away from 19th-century traditions and moral constraints, seeking a faster, more exciting, and pleasure-filled lifestyle. This βflapperβ lifestyle resulted in a string of events that made the censors sit up and take notice and forever branded Hollywood a town of scandal. Presented by Marsha Collock.
