The Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition’s Vision of Hope Garden stands at the southeast corner of Town Hall Park, 200 East Sunrise Highway, Lindenhurst, through September and October — pink and teal flags and ribbon bows for breast and gynecological cancer awareness.
A $10 donation places a detachable ribbon streamer in honor or in memory of someone affected by breast or gynecological cancer. At the end of the two-month display the ribbons are returned to those who request them.
The Coalition supports residents of the Town of Babylon in active treatment for breast and/or gynecological cancer — Amityville, Babylon, Copiague, Deer Park, East Farmingdale, Lindenhurst and North Babylon. Call 631-893-4110 or visit babylonbreastcancer.org.
