Local Events Around the Town of Babylon, NY this week ~ August 3–7, 2026

Free Music Week

Monday came in wet — showers and a high-surf advisory to open the week. But hang on, because the sky clears fast: sunny and 81–85° from Tuesday right through Friday. And the calendar saved the good stuff for the back half.

This is the free-music week of the summer. Three free Town concerts — a Foreigner/Journey tribute at Tanner Park, Lovesong at Overlook Beach, and a Beatles tribute at the Village Gazebo — plus a free Shrek on the lawn, the First Friday Author Series, and a band at every beach bar from Captree to Amityville. Here’s the whole week.
