More than 160 life skills students from across the Lindenhurst school district took the field for the district’s inaugural Special Games, an event built around inclusion, teamwork, and community — with lunch and refreshments for student athletes, families, and staff sponsored by Verra Mobility.
A Day of Belonging
For many students, the Special Games were a rare and powerful chance to compete, be celebrated, and feel the pride of achievement in front of a community showing up for them. Verra Mobility, a company focused on safer communities, says its involvement is about protecting and uplifting the next generation.
