Hello, Babylonians! It’s that time again when this town comes alive with an incredible array of events. This weekend, August 18-20, we’ve got everything from stretching it out on the beach to jamming to live music, and we’re here to guide you through it all. 😃

The day starts colorfully! Got kiddos? The Color Palette in Lindenhurst has both Toddler Time and Open Paint and Slime. Get crafty early! 🎨 For those in search of some spiritual nourishment, the Weekly Regional Prayer Gathering at Kingdom Convergence is the spot to be.

Gaming enthusiasts, get ready to duel at Deer Park’s Magic The Gathering event at Rip N Ship Gaming. And oh boy, the evening’s music lineup is hot! Lindenhurst’s Belfast Gastropub offers tunes from Ed Ryan and a bit later, DJ Sal will amp up the vibes. And if that’s not enough, make your way to Lily’s Babylon to be serenaded by Any Way You Want It, or groove to THE MUTANT KINGS at Sully’s Wharf in Tanner Park! 🎵

Hey theater buffs, the legendary Grease is showing at The Argyle Theatre. Trust us; you don’t want to miss this. 🎭 Wrap up your evening either dancing the night away at Fire Island Fridays or watching high school football action between Deer Park and Purcell Marian!

Rise and shine with not one, but TWO yoga sessions at Robert Moses Beach Field – the Sunrise Stretch and Open Flow Beach Yoga. 🌅🧘‍♀️ After a good stretch, head over to Delano Stewart Plaza for a mix of dance, fitness, and fun, or pick fresh produce at the Amityville Village Farmers Market.

Midday, things heat up with the Long Island Bluegrass & Roots Music Festival in Tanner Park. Enjoy a BBQ with your fur babies at Jackson’s Pawtyer’s BBQ in Lindenhurst, and gamers, don’t forget the tournament at Rip N Ship Gaming. 🎲

If Saturday night fever’s got you, the line-up’s spectacular: Glow in the Park offers groovy amusement in Wheatley Heights, and there’s an eclectic mix of live music all around town, from UnWined at Belfast Gastropub to the 90’s Band at Salt Shack NY!

Sunday, August 20

Welcome the day at the Babylon Village Farmers Market and then munch on pancakes for a good cause at Applebee’s in Lindenhurst. 🥞 Kids can enjoy an artsy morning at Bricks and Minifigs in West Babylon.

For all the music enthusiasts, the Ed Trappe Band will serenade you at Salt Shack NY by 11am. Later in the day, why not join the Trek Bicycle Plainview SMORES RIDE for some outdoorsy fun? 🚴‍♀️ And finally, wrap up your weekend with some delightful tunes from Tone & Some Random Guy On Keyboard at Babylon’s Tres Palms.
