Cardigan on. Calendar open.
Okay, 109 things to do before the weekend? I literally can’t even. The libraries are in their pumpkin era, Copiague is teaching Thriller, and there are paint nights, cozy film breaks, live music and community plans across the Town of Babylon. Grab the cardigan, text the friend who is always “down for whatever,” and pick one actual plan. Spooky season is not going to enjoy itself.

A jack-o’-lantern paint night is exactly the level of fall commitment I’m manifesting. Check registration before attending.
Monday, October 19 · 22 plans
Monday, but make it pumpkin-spiced. Fall Fiesta starts at 4:30 in Deer Park, Embroidery Workshop is at Babylon Public Library at 5:30, and Spooky Season with the Cricut lands in West Babylon at 6. North Babylon has a jack-o’-lantern paint night at 6:30, while The Roosevelts in New York City is at Deer Park Library at 7—reported full, so ask about the waiting list. Also obsessed with a closet clean-out that helps someone: Career Couture opens at Babylon Public Library today.

Tuesday has range, and I literally love that for us. Start with Coffee & Conversation at Lindenhurst Library at 10, then the blood drive runs there from 3 to 7. Minecraft takes over Babylon Public Library at 4:30; at 6:30, choose Italian genealogy in Copiague or zombie special-effects makeup in Deer Park. Finish with Decoupage Pumpkin in West Babylon at 7. Extremely seasonal. Extremely on brand.
