Wednesdays on Wellwood is back for another unforgettable summer night in Lindenhurst! On Wednesday, August 13 from 4 PM – 9 PM, the heart of the village transforms into a free block party featuring local vendors, delicious food, live entertainment, and fun for all ages. Stroll North & South Wellwood Avenue, shop unique finds, and enjoy the best of Babylon community life. Presented by the Lindenhurst Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Lindenhurst — this is the kind of summer magic you can’t miss!
Monday, August 11 – Featured Events
Start your week in Babylon with something for everyone — from inspiring mornings at Vacation Bible School or Vacation Bible Camp, to a creative boost at Summer Art Classes: Amazing Animal Planet Week. Gamers can join the action at Fortnite & Marvel Rivals Camp, while community-minded locals give back at the Blood Drive. As the sun sets, head to Family Fun Night at Salt Shack, sharpen your moves at Elite Dance Studio, or get competitive at Pictionary Game Night before ending your evening with coastal-inspired crafting at the Oyster Shell Trinket Dishes Workshop.
- Vacation Bible School at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church – Kids & teens explore faith through fun activities, music, and community. Runs August 12–16 from 8:45 AM to 12:15 PM. Register here.

Start your day with creativity at Home School Art Classes, then join music lovers at the Conan Gray “Wishbone” Listening Party or catch Live Music by Austin Sidito in Babylon Village. The night continues with culture at Shakespeare in the Gazebo, dancing at Long Island Soul Sliders East, and rare finds at the Looney Tunes VIP Vinyl Event.
