Events Around the Town of Babylon, NY this weekend ~ July 31 – August 2, 2026

August Comes In Hot

The last full month of summer doesn’t tiptoe in — it kicks the door open. Sunny and 80–82° Friday and Saturday, and dry right through Sunday afternoon, which is exactly the weather this weekend’s lineup deserves.

Because Babylon loaded up: a free Zac Brown tribute on the water at Tanner Park, ballet under the stars at the bandshell, a Caribbean-rooted cultural festival, a Renaissance mead day, two farmers markets, a bay cruise, and a band at every beach bar from Gilgo to Captree. Sunscreen on. Let’s go.

☀️ The Forecast — Gorgeous

  • Friday, July 31 — Mostly sunny, high 80°. Beautiful.
  • Saturday, August 1 — Mostly sunny, high 82°. The pick of the weekend.
  • Sunday, August 2 — Warm and mostly cloudy, high 80°, staying dry until late. Get your outdoor plans in early.

Two flawless beach days and a warm, dry Sunday. No excuses.
