Halloween on a Saturday, an Extra Hour on Sunday, and the Last Farmers Market of the Season

Gather ’round, boys and ghouls. This is the big one. Halloween lands on a Saturday this year, the weather has decided to behave, and the Town of Babylon is ready: costume parades at the libraries, a trunk-or-treat in Amityville, Frankenstein on stage in Lindenhurst, tribute bands at the Argyle, and two nights of Halloween parties at Amityville Music Hall. Then, overnight, the clocks fall back, and Sunday hands you a bonus hour. Spend it at the Babylon Village Farmers Market, because Sunday is its final day of the season.

A word on the weather, for those who venture out: it is dry all weekend. Friday is sunny and 70°. Halloween is sunny and 59°, turning mostly cloudy after dark and dropping toward 42°, so layer the costumes. Sunday is partly sunny and 62°. Clocks go back one hour at 2am Sunday.
