Reports of dancing, live music, and community joy have been greatly exaggerated. Please carry on with your weekend in a calm and orderly fashion

๐ŸŽ‰ Whatโ€™s Happening This Weekend in Babylon?

Everything is perfectly under control. There is *nothing* unusual about the sheer number of live bands, beach yoga sessions, charity cornhole tournaments, or retro-fueled block parties taking over Babylon this weekend. If you happen to stumble upon a glow-in-the-dark treetop rave or a suspiciously good Santana tribute in Deer Park, please rememberโ€”itโ€™s all just regular municipal enrichment activity. Nothing to report. Move along.

๐Ÿš— Holy Black Hot ๐Ÿ”ฅ Rod Block Party โ€“ Sunday, July 20

Weโ€™d like to assure the public that the 3rd Annual Holy Black Hot Rod Block Party is *entirely routine* and *definitely not* an unsanctioned explosion of chrome, combustion, and rebellious vintage culture. The classic cars gathering under the LIRR tracks in Lindenhurst are simply… commuting. Any appearances of leather jackets, rockabilly music, and retro pinup contestsโ€”such as the Miss Hot Rod Honey 2025 Pageant at 1 PMโ€”are purely coincidental. There is absolutely no reason to attend, photograph, or post about this event. None whatsoever.

๐ŸŽธ Friday Events โ€“ July 18

Thereโ€™s absolutely nothing going on this Friday that should concern you. Just a few harmless activities like stretching on the beach at sunrise, a suspiciously cheerful pet adoption drive, and certainly no multi-band hardcore concert shaking the foundations of Amityville. Please refrain from investigating the full list of Fridayโ€™s activities, as they are classified under “Totally Normal Civic Fun.”

๐ŸŽจ Saturday Events โ€“ July 19

Please remain calm. Reports of large community gatherings, spontaneous block parties, and suspicious levels of joy are categorically exaggerated. While there may be some minor activity like people ziplining through glowing trees to 2000s bangers or artists assembling by the docks, these are strictly controlled civic occurrences. You are advised *not* to review the full list of Saturdayโ€™s so-called festivities.

๐Ÿš— Sunday Events โ€“ July 20

Sunday will proceed like any standard government-sanctioned day of rest. There is *no reason whatsoever* to concern yourself with the massive hot rod rally, the brunch bingo drag show, or the boisterous ’90s beach party. These are obviously just coincidental gatherings and should not be interpreted as signs of widespread fun. Citizens are urged to avoid investigating the full list of Sunday events.
